ANSI Class 2 Public Safety Vests

vests meet the ANSI/ISEA 207-2006: American National Standard for
High-Visibility Public Safety Vests. These vests have a five-point
breakaway design which prevent entanglements when you need to remove
yourself from a situation. Each is easy on and off with velcro closures
on the front with fully adjustable sides. Added features include
microphone tab and
radio tabs, and a large internal pocket with Velcro closure. Made with 3M™ Scotchlight™
reflective tape.

The Federal Worker Visibility Rule must be complied with by November
24, 2008. According to the rule “all workers who are within the
right-of-way of a Federal-aid highway who are exposed either to traffic
or construction equipment within the work area shall wear
high-visibility safety apparel.” The rule establishes that the ANSI
107-2004 Class 2 and Class 3 standards are the minimum apparel
performance standard. OSHA will enforce these guidelines.
