Metal Detectable
Metal detectable products help to reduce foreign objects contamination. Reasons for implementing metal detectable products range from companies following HACCP, or GMP or in the implementation of a six sigma program. Our products are primarily designed for use in the food processing or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, but can be used in support of any effort to reduce foreign objects contamination. All companies using metal detection or X-Ray equipment in efforts to inspect for foreign objects contamination are candidates for metal detectable products. We are dedicated to developing and introducing new metal detectable products to the industry, and works closely with users in such development. Manufacturers are providing more ready to use products, increasing the processing component of the product, ultimately increasing the chances of foreign objects contamination. Foreign object contamination can be detrimental to a company's reputation, leading to costly recalls or expensive litigation.
Why Detectable?
- Detectable products show use of all due diligence within production areas
Detectable products can be used as part of HACCP process
Detectable products are cost effective
Above all, detectable products help combat the risk of contamination in production areas
Detection systems sensitivity is very dependent upon a number of factors, including, calibration levels, aperture dimensions, originations, etc -- it is therefore difficult to be specific about minimum particle sizes being detected and rejected. Used correctly, all of the products offered by CK Safety, will ensure a higher degree of protection against contamination in production areas.
