The Detectamet Expand-A-Band Hearing Protector is designed for maximum comfort, and is suitable for either short or long periods of use, and is prefect for easy communication within noisy production areas. Both the earplugs and band have been tested to be metal detectable down to 1mm. The earplugs are made from silicone with a detectable additive, these earplugs are entirely both x-ray and metal detectable… Even the band. Expand-A-Bands are available in either Blue or Red with a 2- or Red 3-flange earplug design. All are X-ray and metal detectable. Perfectly suited for the food and meat processing, pharmaceutical and beverage manufacturing industries. NRR 25 (2-flange), NRR 26 (3-flange). Sold 10 per pack. Replacement pods available.
